2026 is almost here and that means it’s time to set our intentions for the new year! Instead of making lame ass New Year resolutions that will be forgotten by February, I prefer to indulge in a tradition of my own…
Each year I choose a “word of the year”. I decide on one word that will then become my primary focus for that year.
My word of the year for 2025 is “intentional”. My focus has been to be more intentional in all things that I have poured my energy into this year. Most importantly I aimed to be more intentional when it came to the relationships I that have in my life.
Seems easy right? Well…😅
Choosing the word was easy AF. But funnily enough, my intention of being more intentional with the connections and relationships in my life didn’t exactly go as intended. (See what I did there? 😜)
But that is life right? Ultimately what I discovered was that before I could even begin to focus on becoming more intentional with my relationships with others, I needed to become more intentional with my relationship with myself.
I’ll spare you the details but I will say that this was the best fucking year filled with many challenges and immense growth! So, those new year resolutions can kiss my (well toned and sexy AF) ass because choosing ONE word of the year is so much fucking better!
