Gender July is in full swing and this week, I got to host an informative panel on ZodiacGenders! Our FemDom Friday panel for July 18th consisted of Harper, Becky, Krista, Hadley, and Viola. Together we chatted about xenogenders, shared knowledge about Neopronouns, and powered through some Mercury Retrograde fuckery. We spoke at length, however, about a subset of xenogenders known as ZodiacGenders.

Xenogenders

After greeting our audience, the FemDom Friday festivities kicked off with a working definition of xenogenders. Harper shared how ‘xeno’ means ‘outside’ thus incapsulating the ‘outside of gender’ aspect of this term. We further defined it as ‘a diverse collection of non-binary genders that use concepts, objects, nature, and/or abstracts to define or conceptualize one’s gender’, we each shared our experiences with gender identities that go beyond the masculine-feminine binary. Most, if not all, of The Girl Gang had some experience with non-binary gender identities. Which segued smoothly into us each sharing what we each knew about neopronouns.

Neopronouns

We discussed how neopronouns are used in place of ‘he/she/they’ pronouns to better reflect one’s non-binary gender identity. Next, we fed our heads using a list of neopronouns shared by Becky and found that there were as many of them as there are xenogenders. The Retrograde reared its frustrating head momentarily before we moved on to our main topic of Friday’s discussion: ZodiacGenders!

ZodiacGenders

Given our collective knowledge of The Zodiac and it’s 12 archetypes, ZodiacGenders was an incredibly accessible way to broach and subsequently broaden our dialog on xenogenders.

We wrapped our discussion on ZodiacGenders by referring to more xenogenders, reiterating the distinction between gender and sexuality, before going over an introspection chart shared by our resident KINKologist.
