Last Friday, I continued wallowing in the filth of Anal August by delving elbows deep into the dank depths of anal sex. Below is a recap of the information discussed that night but be forewarned- I have an agenda. I aim to turn you all into sweet little slut sluts. And it’s not because I am mean- I want to share with you the unique pleasures associated with anal sex. I fucking love anal sex- the feeling of being stuffed with cock, the imagery of sliding my fat girl cock into that tight little hole. I discovered the pleasures associated with my sweet little rosebud right around the time I discovered my pussy, and I have never looked back. So, Am I just a dirty, slutty little deviant? Well, yes, but it turns out I am in good company.

Anal Sex Insights: What the Numbers Say

The International Society for Sexual Medicine has been digging deep into finding us the anal answers we really want regarding anal. They found that previous research suggests that approximately 36% of heterosexual women and 44% of heterosexual men have engaged in anal sex in their lifetime, with higher prevalence rates for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

They then surveyed 498 cisgender women and 466 cisgender men were surveyed regarding Receptive Anal Intercourse, where a body part or a toy is inserting inside the rectum. Here is what they found:

  • 33% of women engaged in RAI, compared to 23% of men
  • Prevalence rates among the LGBTQ+ community were a bit higher, with gay women at 40%, bisexual men at 78% and gay men at 39%, with heterosexual men sitting prudishly at 17%.
  • Women aged 40-59 were more likely to have engaged in receptive anal, and older men aged 59+ were less likely to

Analyzing the Anal Sex Data

Femdom Fridays (800) 601- 6975 Anal Sex BeckySo, let’s talk about why that may be so- why these numbers spread in the particular configuration that they did. It’s no secret why women would be more receptive to receptive anal, with the way guys get sooo precious about their butts. There is a huge stigma revolving around anal for heterosexual men. I mean, honestly, there is a huge stigma around thoroughly wiping, that’s how strong the stigma around buttholes is. Men seem terrified to touch their sensitive little buttholes, for fear they may experience a sliver of pleasure. And you know what it would mean if they experienced pleasure from that little delectable spot chock full of delicious nerve endings? It would mean that they have they gays!!!! I’m being silly, of course, but I really do think that men associate any pleasure with their buttholes with being gay. And let’s face it, on its face, that is utterly ridiculous. The notion that because gay men have sex involving buttholes makes buttholes gays is really goofy, right? Wait until they find out that gay people also like oral sex. Does that mean that oral is off the table now too? To deprive yourself of the natural inherent pleasure available in your own body seems tragic to me.

Women being open to receptive anal at higher rates isn’t shocking, especially considering the number of men who really, really want to experience that sensation. Women are used to men begging sexual favors from us, as we are bosses of sex, are we not? So as the keepers of sex, all requests for new sexual experiences are run through us, yes? So, we have more opportunity to say yes or no. Women are also in the unsavory position of having been conditioning to please her man her whole life but then also be considered a dirty slut when she loves sex, especially deviant sex. So, she is in the unenviable position of being a bitch and a prude if she says no, but a dirty whore is she says yes. Yes, its a high number of women who don’t partake of the anal pleasure that is there for the taking, but also a decent number of women who do.

I was rather surprised to see that gay men had a lower rate of receptive anal that both gay women and bisexual men but figured that is due to the split between tops and bottoms within the gay community. There are people, very very gay people, that don’t do receptive anal at all. I was actually curious enough that I decided to do a little research on it, because it seems odd, right? That gay men have lower rates of anal than gay women do. Researchers from Indiana University, George Mason University and Online Buddies, Inc., polled more than 24,700 gay and bisexual men ages 18 to 87 to ask them about this very issue. They found that only 35.5% of gay men and 33.8% of bisexual men engaged in anal for their last sexual act. Far exceeding anal’s popularity was oral, which 75% and 73.4% of participants reported engaging in. In addition, I personally speculate that the number is lower than expected because there is a clear delineation of tops and bottoms within the gay community, and my personal understanding is that some gay men do not engage in receptive anal at all. They are the givers in the relationship, so to speak.

Finally, I wasn’t too surprised to find older women are more likely to experiment, as the trajectory of our sexual confidence trends upwards the longer we fuck. I also wasn’t surprised to find older men were the least likely to experiment. I think that has more to do with generational prejudices than it does anything inherent in older men.

Anal Sex: Who Is Doing It & Why

Origin, an online medical resource, had this to add in their article entitled “Let’s Talk Anal Sex: Who’s Doing It (And Why)”:

  • In their meta-analysis of medical literature, they found that 28.4% of women enjoyed their first experience of anal
  • 62.3% continued having anal after their first experience
  • 40.3% of women enjoy anal outercourse
  • 34.6% enjoyed penetration with a finger, dick, or sex toy

Origin also examined the yummy reasons that women enjoy anal did so because

  • The unique sensation is pleasurable (38.9%)
  • Orgasms feel more intense (27.6%)
  • It feels “profoundly intimate and emotional” (18.2%)
  • The pleasure feels fuller compared to other types of sexual pleasure (12.5%)
  • The taboo associated with it is thrilling (11.6%)
  • They can achieve an orgasm from anal touch or stimulation alone (9.2%)

Matter of fact, the good people over at GQ in their article “Study Very Gently Suggests We Should All Be Having More Anal Sex” recommend that everyone should try anal… and for a good reason. The National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior were researching various sex acts that did, or did not, as the case may be, result in orgasm.

  • Men achieved orgasm around 90% of the time no matter what act was involved, because of course they fucking did
  • Women were a bit more complicated: 64% got off from mutual masturbation, 66% from vaginal penetration, and 81% from oral sex.
  • However, anal was the real winner here. 100% of men and 94% of women say they orgasmed during anal sex

They did note that this study was of a relatively small sample size, but the results still paint a pretty convincing picture, dont they?

Is Anal Sex for You?

So now that you have seen the data on Anal Sex and heard all about the yummy benefits, have I done my job and converted you into the butt sluts I know you can be, that you truly want to be? Here is what I will say about this- anal sex may not be for everyone, but if you aren’t doing anal out of some weird shame hang up or because you think its gay then that’s honestly just silly. Anal sex isn’t any more gay than oral sex, and I don’t see people with the same weird hang up about oral. So, let’s dispel some of these hangups together, yes? Whether you are simply anal curious or a proficient butt slut, I would love to play with you.
