How bad is bad sex? We have probably all heard the “joke” that sex is like pizza. When it’s good, it’s REALLY good!! And even when it’s bad… it’s still pretty good. It’s a funny sentiment, for sure, but the harsh reality of truly bad sex is anything but funny! The reality is that if you are sexually active, then there is a really good chance that you have a tale of woe involving some spicy time gone awry. Of course, for the purposes of THIS discussion, I am addressing CONSENSUAL sex that just did NOT wow you. At all. No matter how much you tried to ignite that spark, it just never came. And neither did you.

Bad sex is a letdown for everyone

Is bad sex really that much of a letdown? Of course it is a letdown when sex doesn’t end in fireworks for everyone. You may have been looking forward to this for a long time. You spent time thinking about undressing your partner(s) and how hot it would be. You were on your very best behavior, all while planning to be EXTREMELY naughty, and you were probably edging yourself while you were getting ready. To have all of that anticipation lost to a fizzled dud of a forgettable sexual experience would be enough to disappoint anyone and leave them slightly bitter that they bothered to shave when a good round of healthy masturbation would have been so much better.
